The working principle of a twin-screw puffing machine is to push the material forward through a pair of parallel meshing screws, which are divided into a feeding section, a compression melting section, and a uniform section. In the feeding section, materials enter the barrel from the hopper and are gradually compacted along the screw groove direction as the screw rotates. Under the action of high temperature and high pressure, the material is mixed, sheared, melted, and matured, and finally extruded out of the barrel to complete the puffing process.
